New composite sand filter tube successfully applied in Gudao Oilfield

China Oil Network News: (Special correspondent Jia Xinqing correspondent Yuan Mei) Recently, the technicians of the sand control room of the Gudao Oil Production Plant Technology Institute developed a new type of composite sand filter tube, and the field application saw good results.
The new composite sand filter pipe is an economical, simple and reliable new sand control tool for solving oil and gas well sand control. It is fired at high temperature and has a sand retaining precision of less than 0.07 mm. It has good sand retaining capacity. The resistance to clay blockage is greatly improved compared with other sand filter pipes. It can realize straight wells in sand storage reservoirs. Effective sand control for various well conditions such as inclined wells, gas wells, and steam injection wells. Moreover, it is not limited by the length of the well and the depth of the well, nor is it restricted by the well temperature and the well inclination. The mechanical strength is large and the oil production index is high.
The new composite sand filter tube has successively tested three wells in Gudao Oilfield. The average single well daily liquid increase is 20 cubic meters, and the daily oil increase is 6 tons, which has achieved good results.
