Details:

Piroxicam belongs to one kind of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, with strong anti-inflammatory effect, difficult to dissolve in water and absorb slowly, easy to cause gastrointestinal bleeding and gastric ulcer after oral administration. Intramuscular injection may cause pain at the injection site and mild tissue necrosis. Piroxican is made into Piroxicam-Beta-Cyclodextrin inclusion complex, can accelerate the dissolution rate of drugs, reduce the irritation for gastrointestinal tract. The oral analgesics Cycladol is a successful application of piroxicam-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex.

Piroxicam-Beta-Cyclodextrin is refined and made by pharmaceutical grade Piroxicam and pharmaceutical grade β-cyclodextrin inclusion, according to certain proportion with unique new technology. The inclusion compound owns lower odor, stronger stability and more stable drug release rate, comparing with Piroxicam monomer, mainly applied in Anti-inflammatory analgesic drugs ointment.
