Karamay Petrochemical boosts production efficiency

Karamay Petrochemical Company has accumulated more than 14,000 tons of flexible packaging asphalt in May (as of May 21), of which the output reached 744.8 tons on May 15, setting a record high for a single day.

Asphalt for soft packaging is sold by carton and packaged with asphalt. It is easy to transport and store. In 2014, the construction of highways in the northwest region entered a peak period. GPC Petrochemical Sales Corporation conducted an in-depth investigation of the market demand for flexible packaging asphalt, and it is expected that the demand for flexible packaging asphalt will be approximately 200,000 tons throughout the year. This demand nearly doubled the demand in 2013.

The company also stepped up its supervision of the opening of a new line for the production of flexible packaging asphalt, and officially launched the new line of flexible packaging asphalt on March 14. It is understood that Keke Petrochemical will continue to tap the production capacity of existing production lines, increase the production volume of flexible packaging asphalt, and strive to achieve full-load production of flexible packaging production lines, achieve the goal of 900 tons per day, and do its utmost to meet market demand.
