The reporter was informed on the 18th that China's first recyclable graphene diamond calciner developed with the latest graphene heavy-duty coating technology and metal materials has been successfully developed by China Crystal New Materials Holdings Co., Ltd. The calcination time is 1/3 less than traditional refractory brick calciner, which will greatly improve the quality and efficiency of synthetic mica flakes.

Dai Zhongqiu, director of Zhongjing New Materials, the successful research and development unit, said that synthetic mica is mainly used in cosmetics, decorative materials and new energy vehicles. At present, the traditional refractory brick calciner generally adopted internationally has high iron content and many impurities, and the quality is difficult to guarantee. The post-processing cost of the calcined synthetic mica flakes is also high. In particular, the use of refractory bricks in the past was time-consuming and laborious, and it was difficult to treat damaged refractory bricks as solid waste, which did not comply with current environmental protection policies in China and severely restricted the development of the synthetic mica industry. The development of the graphene diamond calcination furnace lasted 4 years and solved a series of core problems from basic materials to design to process technology. Relevant experts of its research and development team revealed that the biggest highlight of this new graphene diamond calciner is that the calcination time is one third less than that of the traditional refractory brick calciner, and it can be released in 55 hours, which not only saves electricity costs, labor and other production costs. The raw material utilization rate reaches 95%, which greatly improves the quality of synthetic mica flakes. From the experimental point of view of the current high-tech calciner, the synthetic mica flakes produced are free of impurities, thin and flexible, which can greatly reduce the post-processing costs.
