Voltage transformer loop disconnection analysis

The voltage transformer loop disconnection phenomenon is:

1. The active power meter indicates an abnormality, the voltmeter indicates zero or the three-phase voltage is inconsistent, the electric energy meter does not turn or rotates slowly, and the low voltage relay operates.

2. When the high-voltage fuse is blown, there may be a grounding signal. The insulation monitoring voltage is lower than the normal value, and the indication on the normal phase monitoring voltmeter is still normal.

3. The “voltage transformer circuit disconnection” light plate is on, and the alarm bell rings.

The reasons for this are:

1. The first and second side fuses of the voltage transformer are blown.

2. The voltage switching circuit auxiliary contact and the switch are in poor contact.

3. The wire joints in the circuit are loose or broken.

Approach:

1. Carefully check if the high and low voltage fuses are blown. If the high-voltage fuse is blown, pull off the voltage transformer isolation switch, remove the low-voltage fuse, replace the high-voltage fuse after the test and discharge, and measure the insulation of the voltage transformer. After confirming the pass, the power can be restored. If the low-voltage fuse is blown, it can be used after replacing the fuse. After the fuse is replaced, it will be blown again. It is necessary to further find out the cause and replace it after processing.

2. Disable relevant protection and automatic devices to prevent protection from malfunction.

3. If there is spare equipment, the faulty equipment should be deactivated and immediately put into standby equipment operation.
