The use of disinfectants is likely to cause secondary pollution, and the effect of sunlight exposure is not obvious.
Professor Zhu Songchun, former chief engineer of the Chinese Academy of Military Sciences, China Association of Public Welfare, and chief adviser of the China Love Engineering Committee, pointed out that the daily cleaning method of vegetables and fruits has only a slight effect on the removal of pesticide residues in food.
