Installation principle: Try to get close to the main conversation area. This kind of pick-up effect is better.

Second, the choice of connecting cables and wiring

Can use ordinary 4-wire telephone line, 5 types of network twisted pair, shielded / unshielded signal cable.

Considering the complex construction environment, it is recommended to use a 0.5mm2 cross-section 3-core signal cable (that is, commonly used 3x0.5RVVP cable) to supply power generally using a remote centralized power supply (ie centralized power supply at the audio recording equipment/amplifier equipment side), The three-core cables used are the power line, audio signal line, and public ground line.

Shielded cables can be used in electromagnetic complex environments where the shielding layer is connected to the equipment ground. That is, one end of the shielding net is suspended, and the shielding end of the equipment is connected to the equipment ground (chassis).

Note: It is best to route the cables separately. Do not use the same cable tray with strong AC power, and try to keep away from strong electromagnetic interference devices such as transformers and luminaire rectifiers.

Third, the power line positive connection method

The power supply method requires remote centralized power supply (ie, centralized power supply at the audio recording device/amplifier device). Its main purpose is to provide greater immunity to interference and noise. It is recommended to use the 12V DC stabilized power supply with the adapter of our company to avoid the degradation of the sound quality due to the unclean power supply.

The individual consumed current is approximately 50-100 mA, which means that a nominally 2 amp DC regulated power supply can be used for 5 simultaneous operations. The power supply efficiency and line loss should be taken into consideration in the application. Try to use a power supply with a higher nominal value.

The DC stabilized power supply referred to here is often referred to as a "transformer" and is generally composed of a power transformer, a rectifier diode, a filter capacitor, and an integrated voltage regulator.

Try not to use a switching power supply. It may cause a lot of circuit noise! Many of the switching power supplies on the market are of poor quality and have a very large ripple coefficient, which can cause hum.

What is a switching power supply?

Simply put, it is a switch type DC power supply, which is an automatic power supply with an electronic switch and an electronic switch oscillator. For example, an ordinary desktop computer power supply is a switching power supply.

The audio ground wire and power cathode are combined into one and must be connected to the negative pole of the DC stabilized power supply and the ground wire of the audio input (LineIn) of the audio equipment.

Fifth, audio cable connection

The audio signal line and audio ground line can be directly connected to the device:

6, pickup audio cable can not be directly connected to the two audio devices, adapters must be connected in order to avoid impedance mismatch may cause deterioration of sound quality.

If you choose the company's dedicated dual adapter as the power of the Agilent monitor head/pickup, please refer to the following connection.

1. Provide a clean 12V DC power supply for the pickup to avoid the noise caused by improper use of the power supply or the degradation of the sound quality.

2. Provide two standard audio output terminals (Lotus head) and one headphone/speaker jack for each pickup, which can connect multiple audio devices at the same time.

8. What problems should be paid attention to when connecting the head/pickup?

It is important that the Elite heads/pickups be mated with other audio amplification, audio amplification or recording equipment. If not connected properly, it will not only affect the picking effect of Alice's monitor head/pickup, but also damage the product and other equipment. During all connections or toggle switches, adjust the volume of your amplifier to a minimum to avoid momentary electrical shock.

1. The basic requirements for Arit

(1) Matching of signal levels: When connecting the ELITE monitor head/pickup, it is necessary to pay attention to the difference between the input and output signal levels of each device. If the level of the input signal of the fore-stage equipment is too large, non-linear distortion will occur. Otherwise, the signal-to-noise ratio of the playback system will be reduced, and even the amplifier of the next-level equipment will not be able to be pushed. Therefore, attention must be paid when using the equipment. The levels should not differ too much. If the signal level does not adapt in actual use, the input signal level must be reduced by the attenuation circuit, or the level of the input signal must be increased by the amplifier circuit. For the monitor head/pickup, it can be sent directly to the “LineIn” port of the audio device because its output signal level is 0.75~1Vpp.

(2) Impedance Matching: If the impedance mismatch occurs when the Agilent monitor head/pickup is connected to a speaker or other device, the output power of the amplifier may be unevenly distributed, or the transient characteristics of the overdamped ambassador may deteriorate. Impedance matching connections are generally balanced and unbalanced. Balanced means that the two-core shielded line of the transmission signal has the same impedance to ground.

The so-called unbalanced type refers to two-core shielded wires, one of which is grounded. When the balanced output is connected to an unbalanced input, matching transformers must be added for matching.
