The structure of hardware accessories should be suitable for the structure and opening of plastic windows. The most widely used opening methods for plastic windows are flat windows and sliding windows, and a few are flat open lower windows. Hardware installation location and quantity

(1) Hinges: The number of plastic window hinges should be determined according to the size of the window sash, opening (inside and outside) of the sash, glass thickness and number of layers, wind conditions in the area where the window is used, building height, etc. The number of hinges.

(2) The number of handles and linkage handles. The handle is generally mounted in the middle of the sash, about 1.5m above the ground. When the sash height is less than 800mm, one handle is required; when the sash height is greater than 800mm, two handles must be installed, and the positions are at the upper and lower ends of the sash. (4) The push-pull window lock clasp is recommended to be installed at the midpoint of the height of the sliding fan.

(5) Push-pull window The pulley is installed 100mm from the corner (under the glass block). Install at least two pulleys per sash.

Hardware fittings

The fixing of the plastic window hardware is different from the wooden window. Since the wooden window is a solid section, the hardware is fixed with a wood screw, and the riveting force is higher. The plastic window is a hollow section with a wall thickness of 23mm. Using ordinary wood screws is not enough. Self-tapping screws or rivets must be used. For hardware components (hinges, supports, etc.) that are carried, in principle, the hardware components must be fixed on the inserted reinforced reinforcements. Without reinforcement, the screws must pass through at least two layers of wall thickness of the plastic profile. One of the reasons is that the screws fixing the hinges are subjected to two kinds of forces. The second reason is that the strength of the screws and profiles is affected by the temperature, and the hinges are fixed. One of the stress distributions is the pullout force in the horizontal direction, and the other is the vertical shear force. Experiments have shown that the shear resistance of plastic profiles is greater than the pullout stress. Therefore, the fastening force or pull-out strength of the screw is usually used as a riveting procedure for the screw. The higher the pull-out strength of the screw, the stronger the pull-out strength of the screw fixed on the reinforcing bar of the profile is about 3 times higher than the pull-out strength of the unlined profile. For small hardware components, reinforcing bars may not be considered.
