Prediction technology of shale gas dessert developed by Geophysical Institute

It is now well known that shale gas is a low-carbon, clean and emerging energy source. The successful development of shale gas in the United States has triggered a revolution in the global energy field. China is rich in shale gas resources, and accelerating the exploration and development of shale gas can increase China's natural gas supply, optimize energy structure, ease the pressure of reducing emissions, and ensure energy security.

To improve the success rate of shale gas drilling, dessert prediction is a key technology. The so-called "dessert" of shale gas refers to an area where shale gas is rich and easy to develop. It is the dessert that can "eat more delicious". There are many evaluation criteria for shale gas "sweet spot" areas, such as total organic carbon (TOC), formation pressure, in-situ stress and porosity of shale. Through the description and description of these parameters, it is an accurate search for shale gas "sweet spot" The key to the district.

"Shale Gas Development Plan (2016-2020)" clearly pointed out that by 2020, China's annual shale gas production will reach 30 billion cubic meters.

Faced with national strategic needs and strong market demand, the Geophysical Institute established an unconventional reservoir prediction key team in 2015, and strived to quickly develop key technology series and software suitable for production to promote shale gas exploration and development.

The research team "started from scratch" and quickly carried out extensive research. By benchmarking international first-class oil service companies, they clarified their technical R & D goals and quantitative indicators; through key technology tracking, they established R & D content and planning nodes for technical series. During the research, it was common to discuss technical solutions late at night. With the joint efforts of everyone, at the end of 2017, the Geopressure 1.0 version with the quantitative prediction capability of "double dessert" was officially released. This version develops and integrates multiple modules such as rock physics modeling, formation pressure prediction and brittleness prediction. In the first half of 2018, the quantitative prediction module for in-situ stress was further developed.

In June 2018, Geopressure software was officially unveiled at the EAGE annual meeting. Its professionalism in rock physics modeling, geological desserts, and engineering dessert predictions has made many domestic and foreign colleagues shine.

Up to now, shale gas dessert prediction technology with a complete set of independent intellectual property rights has applied for 10 national invention patents and three software copyrights, and published 5 papers in domestic and foreign journals.

The ultimate goal of technology research and development is service production. In 2017, shale gas dessert prediction software was initially put into production, and the effectiveness test of developing a relatively mature reef dam main area as the main target target area was completed. The prediction results are consistent with the measured drilling. The project team operated with high efficiency in the mode of development, integration and application. Successively completed 600km2 application in Jingyan-Qian, 405km2 application in Dingshan block, 256km2 application in Yongchuan 3D area, Weiyuan area Completed the application of 505km2 (cumulative 1766km2). Especially in the prediction of reservoir parameters in the Yongchuan area, good results have been obtained, which provided a data basis for the development plan compilation in the area, provided key reservoir parameters for fracturing construction, and gained the height of many experts from Party A. Evaluation.

In the past three years, after continuous testing in production, the project team has continuously overcome the high-precision formation pore pressure prediction under hydrocarbon generation conditions, the quantitative prediction of shale reservoir fracturing engineering parameters (DHSR), and the prediction of shale reservoir brittleness. Series of technical problems.

At present, the unconventional reservoir prediction team of the Geophysical Institute has possessed the quantitative prediction capability of key parameters of shale reservoirs, and has realized the shale gas dessert prediction technology from scratch to perfection. At the international conference booth, some foreign experts saw the demonstration effect of Geopressure and even said "Excellent, Impressive (perfect, amazing)".

Solar LED Street Light

Solar LED Street Light has become an increasingly popular way of providing energy-efficient lighting for public spaces and roads. As the name suggests, solar street lamps are powered by solar panels that collect energy from the sun during the day, which is then stored in rechargeable batteries. This energy is then used to power LED lights, which can provide bright and long-lasting lighting for up to 12 hours without any additional power source. With the inclusion of various features such as motion sensors, solar induction street lights and more, these solar powered street lights have proven to be an effective solution for reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint. Let us dive deeper into the discussion and learn more about the benefits of this amazing technology.
