Wire connection conditions
(1) The wire joint should be tight and firm and the resistance of the wire should not be increased.
(2) The mechanical strength of the wire joint under stress shall not be lower than the mechanical strength of the original wire.
(3) The insulation strength of the wire joint wrap should not be lower than the insulation strength of the original wire, and the connection should be firm, tight and well wrapped.
A. The solder joints at the joints should be full and the surface should be smooth; the flux should be non-corrosive, and the residual flux should be removed after soldering.
B. The connection between the casing, the wiring nose and the crimping cap is matched with the wire core specification. The crimping depth, the number of pressing days and the crimping length during crimping shall comply with the relevant provisions of the product technical documents.
C. When cutting the wire insulation layer, the wire core should not be damaged; after the wire core is connected, the insulation tape should be wrapped tightly and tightly. In the gap between the root of the wire nose and the wire insulation layer, the insulation tape should be tightly wrapped.
Method of exploiting an insulating layer
Since the various wire cross sections, the thickness of the insulating layer, and the delamination are different, the tools for stripping are also different. Commonly used tools are electricians, wire cutters and wire strippers for cutting and stripping insulation. In general, wire strippers of 4 mm2 or less are used in principle, but when an electrician knife is used, it is not allowed to use a knife to rotate the stripping insulation layer around the wire.
A. Single layer stripping method: It is not allowed to use electrician knife to circle and strip the insulating layer. Wire stripper should be used.
B. Sectional stripping method: generally applicable to multi-layer insulated wire stripping, such as braided rubber insulated wire, using an electrician knife to cut off the outer braid layer, and leaving an insulating table of about 12mm, the core length is related to the wire bonding method and Depends on the required mechanical strength.
C. Oblique cutting method: use an electrician knife to cut into the insulation layer at an angle of 45 °. When cutting the near core, stop the force. Then, change the inclination angle of the knife surface to about 15 and push it along the surface of the core to the front end. Then, the remaining insulation layer is peeled off from the core and inserted into the back with a knife edge to cut at an angle of 45 °.
Connection of copper wires in the junction box:
(1) Single core wire and joint: wire insulation table and close together. At a distance of about 12 mm from the insulation table, one of the cores is wound at the end of the connection for 5 to 7 turns, and the remaining head is folded back into the winding line.
(2) Wire joints of different diameters: If it is a single root (wire cross section less than 2.5mm2) or multi-core cord, it should be brushed first. Then, the thin wire is crossed at 15 mm from the insulating layer on the thick line, and the end of the wire is wound 5 to 7 turns toward the end of the thick wire (single root), and the end of the thick wire is folded back against the thin wire.
(3) LC safety crimping cap:
A, copper wire crimping cap is divided into yellow, white and red colors, respectively, suitable for 1.0mm2;
1.5mm2; 2.5mm2; 4mm2 connection of 2~4 wires. The operation method is as follows: strip the wire insulation layer by 10~12mm (determined by the model of the cap), remove the oxide, select the appropriate crimping cap according to the specification, and insert the wire core into the crimping pipe of the crimping cap. , you can fold the core back to the head (double the length) and fill it up. After the core is inserted into the bottom, the wire insulation should be flush with the crimping tube, and in the cap, compact with a special crimping pliers. Note: The use of the safety type crimping cap is generally superior to the old process of the junction soldering package. It has been widely used in large and medium-sized cities, replacing the wire bonding process that has been used for many years (the knot is the wire connection; the welding is the wire brushing tin) Welding; the package is the wire connection after the wire is insulated and the wire is insulated.)
