Abstract: The design of the hot extrusion part of the universal joint bearing sleeve and the structure of the hot extrusion die are introduced. The main dimensions of the anti-extrusion die and the anti-extrusion punch are calculated.
I. Introduction
Production practice proves that hot extrusion is a metal pressure processing method with high production efficiency, low labor intensity, good processing quality, material saving, labor saving and low cost. This advanced processing method can replace or partially replace the metal cutting process, creating conditions for machining to achieve less cutting. Now, the CA10B universal joint bearing sleeve is taken as an example to introduce its hot extrusion die design.
Figure 1 is a product part drawing of the CA10B universal joint bearing sleeve, the material is 15Mn. From the shape of the part, the part should be back-extrusion process; from the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness requirements of the part, it exceeds the requirements that can be achieved by hot extrusion. Therefore, a certain machining allowance should be placed to keep it. Machining after hot extrusion.

Second, the design of the extrusion drawing
According to the product part drawing of Fig. 1, it can be seen that D=39mm, H/d=17.5/31<1.6, and the table 1 finds the unilateral margin as 1mm, the radial tolerance is +0.5, the height direction tolerance is +1.0 and the center deviation It is 0.3mm. A hot extrusion drawing of the bearing sleeve can be drawn, as shown in Figure 2.
