First, the motor selection is different
Due to historical reasons, screw compressors seldom use the preferred series of motors specified by national standards. The actual output power of the motors used by each brand is generally greater than the rated power specified by the national standard. The service factor of the motor factory is used in excess of the numerical value, and the service factor is commonly used. There are: 1.1, 1.15, 1.2, 1.25, respectively, representing the actual output power of the motor is more than the specified power rating of the national standard. For example, when a motor with a rated output power of 55KW is used in a screw compressor, the actual output power is 55kw*1.15=63.25kw (assuming a service factor of 1.15), ie, the screw compressor flow rate is designed based on 63.25kw.

The motor frame number used by the screw compressor is the same as that of an ordinary motor, but the output power is greater than that of an ordinary motor. Therefore, the actual load of the motor should be fully taken into consideration when selecting and using, and the specifications of each component of the power supply system should be appropriately increased.
In order to avoid misunderstanding and inconsistency afterwards, the user can request the screw compressor supplier to explicitly promise the working current of the motor and agree on the meter for detecting the motor current during acceptance.
Second, the power reserve coefficient is different

Responsible screw compressor manufacturers generally consider that under the average annual temperature and humidity, there is a certain reserve factor in the rated power of the motor, and the motor is not overloaded under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, there is a difference in the displacement of screw compressors of different brands under the same rated power of the motor. It is recommended that when selecting the customer, the local climate conditions must be fully taken into account to ensure that the motor does not overload under adverse weather conditions. At the same rated power, the ability of a larger displacement screw compressor to adapt to climate change is weaker.
Third, the calibration conditions are different
China's standard specifies the design conditions for a twin-screw compressor:

Atmospheric pressure: 0.1 Mpa (absolute pressure);
Atmospheric temperature: 20°C;
Atmospheric relative humidity: 0;

Exhaust pressure is rated pressure;
Water cooling screw air compressor cooling water inlet temperature: 15 °C;

Air-cooled screw air compressor cooling air temperature: The corresponding ambient temperature when the suction temperature is 20°C.
