The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2010 Quality Work Points (hereinafter referred to as "Points") released yesterday is the first time that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the annual quality work points. The document clearly sets out four key points for the work of industrial economic quality this year. The first and foremost point is that Xia has promoted the development of brand development and brand cultivation through intensified independent innovation capacity building and vigorous implementation of famous brand strategy.
The brand strategy will first be launched in China, which already has a certain industry and technology base. In October last year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Self-owned Brands for Garment Home Textiles". According to the design of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the clothing and home textile industry will become the entry point for industrial brand construction this year. According to the "points", this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also formulate "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Independent Brands in China's Household Appliance Industry."
Other key tasks set out in the "Key Points" include the "Improving Industrial Product Quality Demonstration Project" and the "Quality Development" activities, completing the preparation of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" for industrial product quality, and promoting advanced quality management methods.
On the same day, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also announced the “Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Quality Standards of Key Industrial Products†(hereinafter referred to as “Implementation Opinionsâ€), which can be regarded as a continuation of the policy of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Quality of Industrial Products†in the second half of last year.
According to the "Implementation Opinions", this year, the government will focus on industries such as steel, automobiles, ships, petrochemicals, textiles, light industry, building materials, medicine, non-ferrous metals, equipment manufacturing and electronic information, and select some enterprises to carry out the implementation of current national and industry standards. The implementation survey, combing and analyzing the main problems existing in the standard compliance work, and researching and proposing solutions.
According to the adjustment and revitalization plan of the nine industrial sectors formulated last year, this year the government will also formulate a pilot scheme for the management of quality standards for key industrial products, and clearly implement steel, nonferrous metals, chemicals, machine tools, automobiles, engineering machinery, electronics, building materials, Catalogues, technical standards for key industrial products such as light industry, agricultural machinery, high-tech, and the procedures, institutions, and management requirements for the implementation of compliance management.
