The 7th "China Young Women Scientist Award" award ceremony was held in Beijing on January 11th, and 10 young female scientists won this honor. Professor Liu Bingbing worked in the State Key Laboratory of Superhard Materials of Jilin University in 1995. After graduating from the University of Jilin, he went to the University of Yumo in Sweden for two years. He is currently the deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Superhard Materials. Mainly engaged in the cross-research of high-pressure physics and carbon nanomaterials, and made systematic innovation work in the preparation of C60 quasi-one-dimensional nanomaterials, metal fullerenes, carbon nanotubes and other nanomaterials. He has hosted the 973 project, the Swedish Foundation's Sino-Asian cooperation project, and published more than 60 SCI papers in publications such as Adv. Mater. and Appl. Phys. Lett. The paper has been cited more than 200 times. In 2002, he won the "Seventh Youth Science and Technology Award of Jilin Province". In the same year, he was selected as "Ministry of Education's Cross-Century Excellent Talents Training Program". In 2004, he won the Outstanding Youth Fund of Jilin Province. In 2007, he was awarded the first prize of Jilin Province Science and Technology Progress Award. . In 2009, he was awarded the title of Distinguished Professor of the “Changjiang Scholars Award Program†by the Ministry of Education. In 2010, he was awarded the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund.

At least one of them is a female science and technology worker working in the western region. The selection includes Hong Kong and Macao. This year, a total of 77 units recommended 165 candidates, and 163 actual effective candidates were born after January 1, 1965. After judging by the jury and publicizing the media, 10 Chinese young female scientists were selected.
