As plants grow, they produce more sugar than they need, and these extra sugars are recovered and decomposed by the surrounding soil, releasing protons and electrons. Researchers then placed electrodes into the soil and captured electrons to generate electricity.
According to reports recently organized by the Physicist Organization Network, a few days ago, more than 300 LED lights in the city of Heimlag were completely lighted by the company’s project called "Starry Sky." The company's new technology equipment can already be used in existing paddy fields, and all types of wetlands are more suitable. Engineers can place pipes below the surface of the wetlands. Peat swamps, mangroves, rice fields, or deltas can be used to generate electricity.
