The wide distribution of buyers has become a new milestone in the internationalization of China International Furniture Fair. Despite the economic crisis that swept the world since 2008, China's furniture export market was once greatly affected. However, this year's 14,852 overseas visitors have increased by 9.2% from the 13,600 overseas visitors last year. China International Furniture Fair plays a decisive role in the restoration of the global furniture market. It is expected to attract more buyers from all over the world in 2010.

Exhibitors at the exhibition had good feedback, on-site orders continued to flow, and buyers' purchasing power increased. Due to the decrease in furniture stocks in North America, Europe and other developed regions, China International Furniture Fair provides a platform for purchasing high-quality products and supplying warehouses for the upcoming 2010.

High-quality exhibits, high-quality buyers, attention from all sides

Even though it has enjoyed a good reputation in the industry for 15 years, the China International Furniture Fair is still a veritable industry benchmark with its high quality and innovation every year.

Whether it is civilian furniture, office furniture, cabinet furniture, living room furniture, outdoor furniture, home accessories or furniture accessories, each exhibition hall on the exhibition site has an independent display theme, which is convenient for buyers to purchase. This year's exhibition is a new development of rattan furniture, children's furniture and boutique furniture pavilions. With its unique display design space, it attracts more high-quality exhibitors and buyers and has received good feedback from the market.

To facilitate exhibitors and buyers, the organizer has improved on-site services, such as providing more on-site VIP rest areas, increasing the number of shuttles inside and outside the hall, and providing free drinks and snacks when the hall is closed.

Wang Mingliang, executive director of Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and vice chairman of China Furniture Association, pointed out that expanding the scope of exhibits and choosing more high-quality exhibits will become the mainstream of furniture exhibition development in the next few years. This indicates that the furniture exhibition in the next few years will attract more exhibitors and display more different types of furniture products.

The Danish Chamber of Commerce Commissioner Dr. Mette Knudsen was amazed to see so many high-quality exhibits from all over the world at the exhibition and intends to introduce Nordic design furniture at the exhibition in the coming year. Other commissioners from Germany, France, Italy, Canada and the United States also gave high marks to the selection of high-end products in the exhibition, the design of the booth, and the number of buyers.

Facing a crisis, the Chinese furniture market is still growing

2009 is a challenging year for the global economy, and the Chinese furniture market is facing unprecedented difficulties. According to statistics from the China Furniture Association from January to July 2009, Chinese furniture exports fell by 9.45%. However, according to the policy of "guaranteeing growth, expanding domestic demand, adjusting industrial structure" and all-round industrial efforts, the Chinese furniture industry has shown signs of recovery, compared with the first two quarters of last year, the domestic market increased by 8.4%.

The economic crisis has accelerated the transformation of China's furniture industry and accelerated the pace of industrial upgrading and restructuring. As a green environmental protection industry, China's furniture industry will gradually enter a healthy, stable and sustainable development stage.
