North heating increases production of methanol plant

In winter, the temperature in the north continued to decrease, and natural gas appeared to be in tight supply. According to the principle of “stopping industry first and then stopping business”, the natural gas methanol plant in the north and southwest has experienced various degrees of stoppage/production cuts.

It is reported that 382 million tons of gas-to-liquid methanol plants have been under varying degrees of load reduction or production suspension due to tight gas supply, accounting for about 50% of the national total natural gas methanol production capacity. It is estimated that the daily production of the above-mentioned enterprises will be reduced by nearly 5,000 tons, and later If individual companies also experience stoppages/cutbacks, the loss of daily output will increase to more than 6,000 tons.
