US Ferrier recently launched the new OEM thermal imaging camera movement Muon, an innovative solution developed specifically for OEM manufacturers.

FLIR Systems, the global leader in thermal imaging technology, recently introduced the latest thermal imaging camera Muon, which is designed to help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) integrate uncooled focal plane arrays into their own In the thermal imaging solution. Developed by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for thermal imaging products, Muon helps achieve more efficient, easier, and more economical production.

FLIR Systems has introduced a camera component that uses industry-standard interfaces to generate CMOS video outputs, which greatly simplifies the OEM process. Because Muon can calibrate the operation of thermoelectric coolers (TEC), OEMs no longer need to develop sophisticated factory calibration equipment or processes. Muon is a thermal imager "engine" that uses standard imaging equipment power and communication protocols.

The Muon movement was developed based on a FLIR 17μ pixel pitch vanadium oxide (VOx) 640x512 or 336x256 focal plane array (FPA) with a frame rate of 9Hz and a maximum of 60Hz. According to its configuration requirements, the size, weight and power (SWaP) parameters of the Moun movement are optimized. The external dimensions are 22mmx22mmx6mm, the quality is less than 5g, and the power is less than 300mW.

This product is the latest milestone of the FLIROEM Group, which has earned a reputation for providing commercial thermal camera movements to a growing market. Following the first launch of the industry's first compact microbolometer thermal imaging camera (Alpha) in 1999, the group successfully released four industry-leading movements: Omega, Photon, Quark and Lepton.

Bill Terre, General Manager of FLIROEM Emerging Markets, said: "Muon is an innovative solution developed specifically for OEM manufacturers to facilitate OEMs to use their own image processing, packaging and optical technologies. This shows the US company Fier FLIR Systems has long-lasting leadership in developing OEM technology and reducing early production costs. http://news.chinawj.com.cn Editor: (Hardware Business Network Information Center) http://news.chinawj.
